BIESA PRESS RELEASE
The Beaver Island Emergency Services Authority is pleased to announce the hiring of Kathleena Mason as the new Executive Director of BIEMS. Kathleena had been serving as the assistant director under Cody Randall, and more recently as the interim director since Randall’s resignation earlier this year.  
Kathleena was selected after review of over 8 viable candidates for the full-time position.  The board is expecting to find a new assistant director from among the remaining candidates.  
Further, the board wishes to express its sincere appreciation to Cody Randall for the work, dedication and professionalism he brought to the position.
